Point Alta Vista & Trail
Ride or hike the trails that were home to the Royal Gorge Scenic Railway tracks for over 50 years. The mile-long trestle bridge is redecked as a public trail for biking, hiking, and dog walking. The trail starts here at Royal Gorge Ranch and Resort property to the lip of the Royal Gorge at the lookout point with jaw-dropping views of the Arkansas River, the Royal Gorge Bridge, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The Via Ferrata or the “Iron Way,” is a climbing system of steel cables and rungs fixed to the rocks of the Sweet Spot walls and the Buddha Wall for climbers to secure themselves with ease and safety. Epic Incline
Get your heart pumping and your steps in on our very own incline stairs. The Epic Incline is 87 stairs tall right up the side of the valley in the Royal Gorge Ranch and Resort.
